Mary's determination is best demonstrated by her continuous fight to succeed beyond measure. Not only has she thrived beyond her stroke, she has saved other lives and developed a non-profit agency called Healings in Motion, Inc. Healings in Motion, Inc. is a patient-centric non-profit focused on brain health and to support caregivers. Mary uses her past experiences to help those who are not served or underserved, as well as everyone needing support during a tremendous change like she did.
Mary also graduated from the Hilton School as a Professional Health Coach. She became a Women's Health Leadership Collaborative. Mary has received certificates from University of the Pacific programs benefiting non-profit leaders. Additionally, Mary has received many Congressional and Senate recognitions and locally including the following: Medgar Evers Freedom Fighter Award (NAACP), Health and Wellness Champion Award (Central Valley Asian-American Chamber of Commerce), Distinguished Champion (California Speech-Hearing Association), and Making A Difference Community Service Award (Mayfair SDA).
Mary is an ALF Great Valley Class IV Senior Fellow.
