Monica Ojcius

Monica is invested in her community and has spent her adult life in service to making a positive impact where she lives and loves, here in the Central Valley of California. Monica has worked in the non-profit community for over 27 years. The past three years at Community Hospice initially as Executive Director of the Foundation and is currently working on Strategic Planning and Special Projects. Monica holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from CSU Stanislaus. She relishes her involvement in our communities, serving on the Boards for the Modesto Rotary Club, Omega Nu, Association of Fundraising Professionals and now for American Leadership Forum – Great Valley.  In 2014 she was honored to receive the Outstanding Fundraising Professional award for our region. She recently served on the Technical Advisory Board for the Transfer of Wealth study for Stanislaus County.

Monica loves to garden, read, entertain and laugh until she cries. She is married to Modesto City Schools educator, Sam Ojcius and has three wonderful boys, Kyle, Michael and Luke that keep her busy in her spare time.
